Note 2) The auction record regarding Vezin sales and his Impressionist style of painting, particularly "ARIZONA LANDSCAPE," which makes clear that Vezin painted western views, like this Vezin auction lot, in addition to his typical New York Impressionist views, and which warrant the conclusion that the presale estimate of $200-$500 is reasonable and justifiable.
