ENGLISH CARVED MAHOGANY TALL CASE CLOCK. Circa 1830. Bonnet has broken scrolling arch pediment centering shaped tablet; domed glazed door centered by pair spiral-carved Corinthian columns with gilt capitals; painted dial with demilune panel depicting farm scene; pierced gilt hands; subsidiary seconds dial and date dial; key-wind striking movement. Shaped waste door with inlaid escutcheon; base has inset circular panel, shaped apron, and small French feet. - 94 1/2 x 25 in. x 10 in.
