RENAISSANCE REVIVAL CARVED WALNUT TRESTLE-BASE LIBRARY TABLE, 19th century. Rectangular top elaborately carved in bas relief with spread-wing royal eagle centering heraldic shield with carved roundels monogrammed "FV" surmounted by crowns. Spiral carved and splayed legs connected by matching side stretchers, joined by Spanish-style spiral twist wrought iron cross stretcher.

Good general over-all condition. Library table is actually walnut, with some minor shrinkage to one corner of top including a hair-line are crack (fixable) and light surface ware from use. Also some lesser scattered hair-line age cracks to molded-edge.
