RARE CHINESE PEWTER EWER.Early to mid Ming Dynasty (1368-1643). Of flattened pear-shaped body with a peach-form reserve in high relief on each side chased with a mountainous landscape with pine trees surrounded by scrolling foliate decoration, dragon-form spout and handle, the domed cover with a mythical beast finial; remains of red pigment.
