to Washington D.C. in 1953, first
working the for the Belgian
Embassy, then the Dumbarton Oaks
Research Center. de Boeck studied
at the Corcoran School of Art and
the George Washington University
and mentored under Pietro Lazzari.
He exhibited at Strathmore Hall,
the Woman's National Democratic
Club and Georgetown Art Gallery
and held one-man exhibitions at
Mahler Gallery, Holly Ross Gallery
and Govinda Gallery. Sloans &
Kenyon is pleased to offer a large
collection of de Boeck's work
spanning three decades in the
next several auctions.
