The Musical Comedy Producer, Florenz Ziegfeld ( 1867-1932) was known as "glorifier of the American girl" and produced twenty-two editions of his legendary "Ziegfeld Follies." He later produced other Broadway successes such as "Show Boat," "Sally," and "Kid Boots." He built the Ziegfeld Theater in 1927 on Sixth Avenue in New York City.

The Bedroom suite belonging to Florenz Ziegfeld remains in excellent condition. Further research found the suite was produced by Chesterfield Furniture Co., New York. We found that two pulls are missing (one chest-on-chest and another from dresser). The dresser was once fitted with interior shelves now missing, and one drawer interior will require cleaning after use over the years.
