LINCOLN MEMENTO, BUNTING FROM THE COFFIN. The cotton bunting printed with stars and red and blue colored bands, with a letter from Ritner F. Holdren, President, Mobile Museums, Inc. "This bunting was taken from Abraham Lincoln's Funeral Train. It was secured around the base of Lincoln's coffin on the trip from Washington D.C. to Springfield, Illinois. This Bunting was taken after the removal of Lincoln's body for interment in Illinois by my Great Grandfather Captain W.M. Brown, Sr., who accompanied Lincoln's body from Washington. April 14, 1989" - 25 x 12 1/2 in.
