TWO PAIR VICTORIAN PAPIER MÂCHÉ AND MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAID LETTER HOLDERS, 19th century. One pair, on bracket feet, with floral and vine decoration; one pair, on bun feet, with flowering urns and swags - 8 in. high, tallest.
Estimate $500-700

Each with surface craquelure.

Floral and vine: One with repair to spot of mother-of-pearl inlay, regilding to some areas, loss to back bottom corner of fan; one with three losses of inlay, areas of regilding. Each with rubbed gilding.

Flowering urns: one with repair to inlay near corner of fan, repair to break near same area, weak spot on opposite end. Other in good condition with minor wear to gilding.
