One of the rectangular sapphires has been replaced with a round sapphire. Three sapphires are missing from the top channel. The sapphires have a medium dark tone and are a slightly violetish blue with good intensity. Sixty six of the diamonds are single cut and one (the largest) is a European cut. The diamonds are predominantly in the VS clarity range and F-H in color. Assays platinum, no stamps. The lorgnette is suspended on a 14 karat white gold, 18 inch curb link chain. Approximately 2 1/2 inches long.
