1.) The chandelier has three pendant shades 2.) The measurement of 24 in. diameter includes the pendant shades. The bowl measures 16 in. diameter. 3.) The interior light sockets adjust downward, and their visibility depends on the height at which the chandelier is hung from the ceiling. The view shown in the photograph is eye-level, and this would be uncommon vantage for most chandeliers. At the correct elevation, the light sockets would not detract from the overall appearance of the chandelier.
