STRAND OF HAIR OF LINCOLN CONSPIRATOR MARY SURRATT. Presented in a laminated sleeve with photocopies of a page from the diary of Samuel Curtis, a copy of a photographic carte de visite of Mary Surratt, and a copy of Gardner's photograph of the hanging, July 7, 1865. The hair was presumably taken by Curtis, 8th Regiment, probably one of the guards at the foot of the gallows
