GEORGE III STYLE EIGHT-DRAWER CHEST, in the French taste, early 20th century. Rectangular top with canted corners and serpentine front edge projects over two banks of four graduated drawers with serpentine fronts; cross-banding and ebonized line inlay throughout. Brass wreath-cast ring pulls with medallion and bow knot back plates; inlaid keyhole escutcheons; conforming plinth base - 34 in. x 29 1/8 in. x 16 in.

Good overall condition, with some scattered tiny ink drop markings (cleanable); good drawer construction with tiny uniform triangular dove-tailing; upper right drawer has tiny veneer loss.
