Williams (1960 - 2010) who was a Ditidaht carver from the Northwest Coast, known for his totem poles and other carvings. He was the son of prominent master carver Raymond Williams. John T. Williams created model totem poles and other carvings, often featuring traditional Northwest Coast figures. His work is characterized by its hand-carved details and traditional polychrome painted surfaces.
