La danseuse à la pomme (The Dancer with an Apple), Gilt and brown patina raised bronze of a semi-clad girl with long diaphanous dress, balancing on one foot, the other leg outstretched, an apple in her right hand and the hem of her dress held up in her left. It is signed and inscribed 'J.L. GEROME. / C / SIOT-DECAUVILLE / FONDEUR / PARIS' " (foundry stamp) on base. Bronze is raised on a original green marble cylindrical plinth
