MASSACHUSETTS LAND DEED DATED 1708, FOR THE TOWN OF NEWTON, 18th century. The house on the property was used in 1726 as an official landmark by the selectmen of "Newtown" (now Newton) Massachusetts, when they were laying out the town limits. The land is now on or near the Charles River Country Club. Sepia ink on paper with numerous signatures and two black wax seals.
