NIGERIAN YORUBA METAL RITUAL OBJECTS. Set of three objects related to Yoruba rituals specifically an Opa Osanyin or Osanyin staff, used by Yoruba herbalists and healers in Nigeria. The tall, central iron staff with birds and bells is a type of ceremonial staff known as an Opa Osanyin. These staffs are dedicated to Osanyin, the Yoruba deity of herbal medicine. While the central object is clearly an Osanyin staff, the other two iron objects in the image appear to be related ritual implements or altar pieces, potentially for offerings or other ceremonial uses within the Yoruba tradition. - Height: 24 inches (Osanyin staff).
