PAPUA NEW GUINEA MOROBE PROVINCE BAMBOO COMBS. Two bamboo combs from the Huon Gulf area in the Morobe Province of Papua New Guinea. These combs are characterized by intricate carvings and decorations, typical of the region's artistic traditions. The larger comb features a handle with a stylized face and geometric patterns, while the smaller one has a more triangular shape with similar decorative motifs. The teeth of both combs are made of thin strips of bamboo, and the handles are adorned with red, black, and blue pigments. - Length: 8 to 10 inches.
