TWO JOHN F. KENNEDY ITEMS: THE DALLAS TIMES HERALD. NOV. 22, 1963 AND U.S. SENATE LETTER DATED JUNE 2, 1958.. Two JFK items are framed together. The "Final Edition" of The Dallas Times Herald captures the tragic outcome: "President Dead" noting, "Connally Also Hit By Sniper". The front-page photo depicts President Kennedy greeting the crowd at Dallas's Love Field on his arrival that morning.
Kennedy's 1958 letter, bearing his signature, is to then "Meet the Press" television host Lawrence Spivak. Kennedy wrote: "James Russell Lowell once wrote that the three most difficult words in the English language were 'I was wrong.' . . . I should have known that when Spivak puts his hand to the plow his furrow is always straight. Sincerely, John F. Kennedy."
