UNUSUAL VICTORIAN BRASS BED WITH GREEN AND CREAM PORCELAIN DECORATIONS ON ALL VERTICAL COLUMNAR POSTS, late 19th century. Scrolls across both horizontal surfaces. Porcelain headboard finials; footboard finials resemble brass cannonballs. Polished and lacquered, wonderful patina. Footboard is curved. Headboard measures 54" wide x 72" tall; footboard measures 54" wide x 36" tall. Iron side rails have been extended to accommodate 80" long queen-size box spring and mattress (which overhangs barely noticeable 3" on each side.)
