Work has been laid down on rice paper and hinged to mat with rice paper hinges. Two large areas of (water?) staining in top half of work (visible in photo) with two small repaired tears in upper left corner. Surface of paper is thinned/slightly abraded near upper left corner, above her head to the right of her knee and foot, and below signature. Few minor losses at extreme edges. Reverse of work is uneven, most likely due to its removal from an earlier mount. Few tiny dots of foxing. From Estate of local collector Mary Quandt.
