A miniature of a woman of noble rank or high society, c. 1850. A relatively large circular miniature painting of an attractive woman, probably of the nobility or of high society, wearing a beautiful white dress with a blue sash from her shoulder to her waist; also a necklace. In a very elaborate, ornate white and gold frame with gold decorations, including matching pair of sculpted portraits of a young woman flanking the miniature, perhaps signifying the importance and identity of the sitter.
