This factory reproduction desk, from the second half of the 20th century, appears to be of fine quality and craftsmanship, using the techniques available during the 18th century, including gilt tooled leather, beaded edge molding, chamfered corner edges, dove tailed drawers, and shaped bracket feet. The well worn leather surface exhibits a fine patina from sun fading, and coffee spots. Scattered light surface abrasions and wear to bracket feet from use.
