Estimate $3,000-5,000

To the best of my knowledge, it is an American comb-back Windsor having carved knuckles, a fully developed saddle seat and early vase and ring turnings. Branded MANSFIELD--a Connecticut maker working during the last quarter of the 18th century. Paint is old but not original. Excellent overall condition. Provenance: Hanes and Ruskin Antiques. Lee Hanes
