JAPANESE MATCHLOCK, Meiji period (18th/19th century). Octagonal barrel has inlays of stork, partial serpent and tree branch. Inlays under belly and around rear of stock. Small three inch checking (crack) in left side of stock near firing mechanism. It is mechanically ok. - 52 1/2 in./ 133.4 cm long.
