JAPANESE SHORT SWORD (WAKIZASHI), Shinto sword period (17th century). Fully mounted with kodzuka, suke (handle) needs re-wrapping. Blade: temper medium notare (wavy), not clear in boshi (blade tip), no openings. Nakago (tang): Ubu (uncut), one mekugi-ana (peg hole), signed: Suke-Sada - 16 in., 40 3/5 cm.
