JAPANESE DAGGER, Blade is Shinto sword period (17th century). Ivory and bone koshirae (mountings), which is intricately carved in relief with tiger-like fu dogs in a floral setting. Signed Echi-Zen. (No) Kuni Kane-Nori. Temper is not visible, omote side of the blade has horimono of figure in flames holding an ancient ken sword, ura side has two short thin hi (grooves). - entire length:14 in / 35 3/5 cm.
Estimate $2,000-2,500

Some buffing Hada & temper not discernable.
