MOHAIR BEAR ON WHEELS WITH GROWLING MECHANISM, Probably 1920s. Mohair body stuffed with straw, glass eyes, stitched nose mounted on two metal axles. Pull-ring growling mechanism above right shoulder.
Estimate $300-400

Small split at left rear hip joint; 1 inch split at right rear hip joint. Tearing and loss to all four paw pads. Growling mechanism pulls out app. 1 inch; a small amount of hair is missing at and around pull mechanism - there, it is worn down/flattened slightly. There is a patch of wear/missing mohair at right back thigh - a little bigger than thumb size and two small spots above that spot and two other smaller spots at top of right front leg.
