CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE MANDARIN PALETTE PORCELAIN PUNCH BOWL.Circa 1780-1800. With gilt decoration depicting domestic scenes and flowers with birds and butterflies - 13 1/2 in. diam. Estimate $2,500-3,500
The bowl sounds well, but it seems there is some restoration around the rim, where the glaze is more glossy. It also seems that there was a hairline in the center, which was covered. All this is difficult to see unless you look very hard for restoration. It is a nice bowl.
