PROVENANCE: Purchased by the City of New York in 1850 from the family of John James Audubon.

Good condition, watermark "J. Whatman, 1836." Sheet size: 25 1/2 in. x 38 in. Full sheet, not trimmed, the margins slightly darkened in areas beneath mat showing binding marks along top edge, gilt edge along 3 sides, some smudges in margin at upper left and upper right, minor creasing and soiling along bottom edge.
