GEORGE II SILVER COFFEE POT. London, 1740, maker's mark rubbed, possibly by James Montgomery. Tapering cylindrical, faceted swan's neck spout, the scrolling wooden handle at the side, molded rim and foot - 25 oz., 8 dwt., total weight; 8 3/4 in. high.

Marks rubbed, maker's mark illegible. Faint surface scratches allover. The inside rim on the cover has a slight warping. Shallow dents on one area surrounding the base of the spout - the interior of the same area indicates a patched repair. No splits on the end of the spout.
