FRENCH EMPIRE BRONZE-DORÉ FIGURAL CLOCK . Early 19th century. Time and strike movement with silk thread suspension, bell strike; unsigned works; white enamel dial signed Hunziker, Rue de Bassy #22; ormolu sculpture of Apollo with lyre; clock decorated with attributes of quiver with arrows and bow, laurel leaves, together with musical harp and lyre; plinth with three flower wreaths sculptured in high relief with decorative lyre and arrows; set above bronze-doré bun feet - 20 in. high. Estimate $2,000-3,000 Condition: minute crack on left front adjustable foot; eight harp strings intact, but slightly bent; one of the eight tuning knobs is missing on harp; appears to be working, both time and strike
