MEISSEN PORCELAIN PÅTE-SUR-PÅTE CAMEO PLATE, late 19th century; underglaze blue crossed swords mark. Slate blue ground; centered with pâte-sur-pâte cameo of a classical beauty; surrounded by a border of pastel-shaded scrolling decoration, with three oval medallions of musical instruments; gilt scalloped rim - 9 1/2 in. diam.
