NOTE: From a noted family of Parisian furniture makers, Louis Cresson achieved the title of master craftsman in 1738. His furniture shop was located in the Rue de Cléry. During his career, Cresson was commissioned by members of the aristocratic, including Prince de Mérodé-Grimberghen, the Duc d'Orléans, and the Prince de Condé.
