2 18TH CENTURY FRAMED ENGRAVINGS, CAPTAIN COOK, Circa 1795, Banks & Son New System of Geography. Consisting of two framed copperplate engravings, one entitled "View of Kerakooa Bay, the Place where Captain Cook was Killed" and the other "Tereoboo, King of Owyhee, bringing presents to Captain Cook". Both having green mats; one having gilt frame, the other black/gold. - Framed: 14 7/8" high x 19 7/8" wide & 13 1/8" high x 16 3/8" wide.
Estimate $200-300

Not examined out of frame, though appear to be in very good condition and not laid down on card.
