The interior of the cup marked On ne peut lui Echapper, It cannot be escaped in gilt; the exterior of the cup having a couple in a landscape being pursued by cupid. The tea cup measures 3 1/8" tall at the handle. The saucer has a gilt border with applied gilt in pastoral motif, measuring 5" diameter. Estimate $300-400
Wear to the interior of the cup at bottom and sides. The saucer has wear. No chips, breaks or restorations.
