VINTAGE CHINESE PAPER CUT PRESENTATION BOOK, 1945. Nine-page book of intricate Chinese paper cutouts (most on both sides of the leaf). Based on a notation in the last page, the book was presented in December 1945 to a "Th. O. Taylor" in the city of Tsingtao (today's Qingdao). The cutouts depict daily activities such as farming, harvesting, walking and fishing. The book is bound with a heavy and sturdy damask fabric featuring dragons among clouds.
