(1) hand-carved mask from The Democratic Republic of Congo covered dried grass hair, height: 13 inches;
(2) wooden hand carved Chokwe mask with finely carved scarifications including a cross on the forehead. The reddish patina was obtained through the application of red pigment called tukula. height: 7.5 inches;
