TWO SIGNED ALBERTA ANALLA AND VICTORIA VICTORINO ACOMA PUEBLO POTTERY JARS. Artist signed at base: ALBERTA ANALLA and VICTORIA VICTORINO, both from Acoma, New Mexico. Both bowls have highly detailed black-on-white and polychrome (black and red on white) geometric designs which are the hallmark of Acoma ceramics. The large jar on the left features a bold, radiating star pattern created with very fine black lines. The smaller jar on the right uses a pattern of interconnected diamonds and circles, incorporating the traditional red accent dots (polychrome). The designs often include rain, lightning, and fine hatching to represent movement or texture.

ARTIST PROFILE: ALBERTA ANALLA (1960-2008) was a Native American artist from the Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico, known for her miniature pottery and storyteller.

ARTIST PROFILE: VICTORIA VICTORINO is a renowned master potter and is celebrated for her mastery of ancestral techniques while contributing to the evolution of contemporary Acoma pottery. Her work preserves the distinct aesthetic of Acoma Pueblo, marked by symmetry, fine lines, and storytelling through abstract motifs.
