CONTINENTAL SCHOOL (Late 19th / early 20th century). Two works: A Northern Village and Impressionistic Scene with Grazing Sheep, (for restoration). Set of two unframed and unsigned oil on canvas charming works depicting rural landscapes. The larger features a European village scene, likely Dutch or Flemish, given the presence of a windmill in the background. It shows several buildings with red tile roofs and a central body of water reflecting the structures and the cloudy sky. There are trees with pink/white blossoms suggesting springtime. The smaller painting, placed in the foreground, is a more intimate scene, possibly depicting a field or orchard in bloom. It focuses on flowering trees, a grassy area with a few sheep grazing, and exhibits a lighter, more impressionistic style with noticeable brushwork, especially in the foliage. Unframed. Unsigned. Estimate $150-200
