Four Framed 19th Century French Costume Prints of Persia A group of four colored lithographic prints depicting traditional Persian dress, published in Paris, each in period frames. Two are single portrait studies in profile: "Kurde (Perse)" depicting a bearded man in an elaborate green turban with a Kurdish sash, and "Guèbre de Yezd (Perse)" depicting a Zoroastrian man of Yazd in a coiled orange turban and sage-green robe, both credited to Garnier Frères, Édit. Paris, printed by Imp. Testu & Massin, Paris. The remaining two are composite plates titled "Perse / Persia / Persien," each illustrating multiple figures in regional costume — one focused on male dress including musicians, a hookah-bearer, and a fur-collared elder (lithographed by Nordmann et Sahn, printed by Imp. Firmin Didot Cie, Paris), the other depicting seated and standing women in decorative headdresses and layered skirts, bearing vessels and pipes (lithographed by Urrabietta, same printer). Framed. $150-250
