Impressionist portrait of a pensive, extremely lovely and attractive English dark-haired beauty with lovely pink cheeks, wearing a broad-brimmed skimmer white straw hat decorated with flowers at the base of the crown and wearing a gossamer white dress with a large ribbon and a pink sash. She is seated at a table with one arm resting on the table and near her throat, the other arm touching the brim of her hat. Signed and dated "1901" lower left.
