Provenance: A very elderly Washington, DC,. collector, who acquired this painting from Woodward, and Lot 1452, when she was very young and a resident of New Orleans many years ago.
Note: The elderly person from whom Mr. Fastov acquired the painting told him that this cottage and pool were located not to far from her house in New Orleans, but she could not recall the name of the street on which the cottage and pool were located.
