Mei masks, traditionally crafted by the Abelam people, are significant in yam ceremonies, where they represent ancestral spirits and are believed to enhance yam growth and fertility. These masks has an elongated shape and it features a combination of natural materials such as wood, shells, and pigments. - Height: Approx. 30 inches.
