GREEK LATE ARCHAIC HEAD OF PERSEPHONE, Circa 520 BC. Archaic ancient Greek mold-made terracotta head of the goddess Persephone. The goddess wears a polos with braids of hair below, her lips pursed in an "Archaic smile." Persephone (Proserpina, Kore) was the Queen of the Underworld. Presented on a custom made stand.
