AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY WAR PERIOD CANTEEN. Last quarter 18th century. Wooden drum-shaped canteen constructed with wooden hoops, 6.5 in. diameter. Carved monogram, J.W.W. on frontside with old paper label stating, "Canteen from King George Barracks signed R.D. Coggeshall".
