The chest-on-chest is in overall very good condition. There are minor losses to the upper dentil molded cornice. The frieze has age cracks. One of the long drawers is difficult to move, and will require attention. There is evidence of restorations: replaced dust and back boards as well as well patched drawer supports. The inner support for the rear foot is detached.
