The set of dining chairs is in very good overall condition. These may have originally been part of a larger set that would have included twelve chairs. Several of the chairs are marked with Roman numerals under the rear seat rails. Many of these chairs have been repaired over the years with a skilled eye and hand.
Chair II appears with prior repairs seen on the crest rail (lower portion) and proper left leg (corner and behind the knee). Chair IV also has a prior restoration to the proper left leg (behind the knee). Chair VIII restoration behind both front legs. Chair XIII repaired fracture to upper portion of the crest rail.
