The piece remains in overall good condition. However, the rectangular surface top requires restoration of two cracks, discoloration of the wood, and slight buckling. Further the hardware has been replaced and shows signs of usage with some handles missing. Conservation of the drawer supports and runners was noted as well as a vertical medial support on the interior back board. The foot is missing and requires replacement.
