SOUTH AMERICAN LEATHER LOW BENCH, 20th century, mahogany and leather, probably from Peru. Scalloped-edge rectangular top with hand-tooled double-eagle shield reading "Hoc Sicnum vere regum est ultra" [sic.] with nailed brass trim above spiral-twisted legs with rosette capitals joined by perimeter stretchers on bun feet - 16 in. x 51 in. x 19 3/4 in.
