30-STAR AMERICAN PARADE FLAG. Circa 1850, post admittance of Wisconsin to the Union as 30th State. Machine stitched; applied stars . "W.C.C." handstitched in red thread at lower right. - 44 in. x 87 in.

Staining/discoloration and fading throughout. One rip to the top stripe in the center (about half the depth of the stripe) plus fraying and loss to the upper right corner. In the center stripe, there is a hole and also a poorly done repair. There is an L-shaped tear around one of the stars.
